Woodland, Washington • Building Something Worth Building
We're building Lewis River Estate & Gardens the right way — in stages, with intention, without cutting corners. Here's exactly what we're building, when, and why.
At a Glance
Lewis River Estate & Gardens opens in three phases at 3447 Old Lewis River Rd, Woodland, Washington — 45 minutes from Portland (PDX) and 30 minutes from Vancouver, WA. Phase 1 (Spring 2027): outdoor wedding and event venue — covered ceremony patio, secret garden, greenhouse, Lewis River frontage, 2 guest suites (4 on-site overnight guests), up to 150 event guests. Phase 2 (Spring 2028): first Zome glamping dome (4 guests, river views, climate-controlled), outdoor kitchen, natural pool under investigation. Phase 3 (Spring 2029): multiple Zomes, 15–20 total on-site overnight capacity. All phases include full-estate exclusive buyout — one event per date.
Why Phases?
A lot of venues overpromise. We're not doing that. The estate grounds and venue spaces come first — the bones of something special. Then accommodations. Then the full experience we've been imagining. Every phase is designed to be genuinely excellent on its own, while setting up the next one.
If you book in Phase 1, you're getting the real thing — a spectacular outdoor venue on the Lewis River, exclusively yours. What grows from there is the story we're all building together.
Spring 2027 • Venue & Event Spaces
Glamping tent options are being explored for Phase 1 and may be available at opening — stay tuned via the Updates page.
Spring 2028 • Glamping & Outdoor Living
A Zome is a geodesic or organically-shaped dome structure — think five-star hotel room meets Pacific Northwest forest. Climate-controlled, private deck, stargazing panels, Lewis River outside your window.
Spring 2029 • Multiple Zomes & Full On-Site Capacity
The full vision — a place where your whole wedding party or retreat group stays on-site, from rehearsal dinner through farewell brunch, never needing to leave the Lewis River.
Every Phase
Some things are built in from day one and don't get added later. These are the bones of Lewis River Estate — present at every phase.
Direct access to the Lewis River — one of the Pacific Northwest's premier salmon and steelhead rivers. Ceremonies, fire pits, morning walks, guided fishing — all from the estate grounds.
Manicured botanical gardens, secret garden, greenhouse, covered patio, and expansive lawns — all exclusively yours on your date. No shared spaces, no other events.
Lewis River Golf Course is immediately adjacent — walkable from the estate. The only venue in the Pacific Northwest where you can walk from ceremony to 18 holes.
One event per date, no exceptions. Your celebration is the only thing happening on the property — every square foot, entirely yours.
Minimal light pollution, northern exposure over the Lewis River — one of the best aurora viewing locations accessible from Portland. Milky Way and meteor showers visible most clear nights.
Close enough to feel accessible, far enough to feel like a world away. 45 min from PDX, 30 min from Vancouver, WA — no destination price tag, no destination logistics.
Be Part of the Build
The Founding Access List isn't just first priority on 2027 dates — it's a direct signal to us about what matters most to the people who'll be celebrating here. Every inquiry helps us understand what to prioritize in Phase 2 and Phase 3.
August 2027 Saturday dates are the most in-demand and will be the first to fill. If you're planning a summer 2027 event, the window to secure your date is open right now.
